In 1995, the peach became the official fruit of my home state. Just a little pointless information for you.
I made this peach galette for lunch today, and consumed it all. No shame. It’s really easy and so cute.
If you want to make the Peach Galette:
What you’ll need:
2 peaches, pitted and sliced
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of flour
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter, melted
your favorite pie crust recipe
1 egg, whisked
What you’ll need to do:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll out pie crust into the shape of a circle on lightly floured surface. Pit and slice the peaches. Combine with brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter in a bowl. Lay peach slices on pie crust, fanning out in a circle. Fold up the pie crust, overlapping the edges with each fold. Brush with whisked egg. Bake for 15 minutes or until crust has browned.
